J.J. Bitting - ODIN

I have held off on this one for a while so that you all could digest Loki's opinion, that and the fact that I have been somewhat lazy.  J.J. Bitting Brewing Co. is a brew pub in Woodbridge, New Jersey.  The place itself is casual but nice, just what a brew pub should be.  As for the important part of this review...

Victoria's Golden Ale  This is an excellent light beer.  If Budweiser and Coors could just make a beer like this I wouldn't have to spend so much time trashing them!  This was my favorite of the selections at J.J's.

Raspberry Wheat Ale  The same Loki who had a lot of shit to talk about Victoria's Ale had nothing but praise for this girl beer!  Actually for a female friendly beer this one is pretty damn good.  The raspberry is mild and not in your face.  Very crisp and refreshing.

Avenel Amber  This is a nice amber. It s full flavored without overwhelming bitterness.    I would probably go with this one as my go to if I wanted something heavier than Victoria's.  Loki is just plain wrong on this beer.

Chocolate Cherry Stout  I hate this fruity bullshit!  I guess if you were really drunk and wanted a dessert beer this would be a good choice.  I just can't see anyone out for a night of drinking picking up more than one of these!

Bitting's Best Bitter  Has a nice hopped flavor without being too in your face bitter.  This is a very solid beer.  I would have no problem drinking it again.

Doppelbock  Thick and dark motor oil type beer!  It tastes good too.  The main problem with this one is that they serve it in a child size cup... what kind of bullshit is that?

Food  I had a rack of ribs that they waiter described as the best he'd ever had.  I wouldn't go that far but they were pretty damn good.  You could taste the beer marinade and the beer in the homemade BBQ sauce.  If you like fall off the bone ribs these are good.
